The main of this work was analysing and comparison the physical properties of soils under forest and arable land developed from different parent rock in the area of Slezanski Landscape Park. There are acid brown and lessives soils and rankers. It was found that (according to Polish definitions of granulometrical groups) the analysed soils were developed from silt and loam with a medium or high content of skeleton. It was found that the analysed soils developed from different parent rocks have differentiation physical properties, and especially a category of soil use decided about it. The examined arable lands reveal a higher specific and bulk density in comparison with the forest soils developed from the same parent rocks
