The grain of three spring wheat cultivars: Banti, Igna and Sigma from the field experiment conducted in 1996-98 was the material for investigations, where the effect of five nitrogen fertilization methods on grain quality traits was examined. It was found that grain quality parameters were influenced more by cultivar and weather conditions than by different methods of nitrogen fertilization. Application of nitrogen fertilization in 3 doses of granular form (before sowing) and in liquid form (in shooting and heading stages) positively influenced on gluten content
