Results of the second crop rotation of field experiments (1987-92) are presented. Sugar beet was cropped in 6-year rotations with growing cropping frequencies, from 1:6 (control), trough 2:6 (beet rotation), 3:6 (specialised rotation) to continous cropping 6:6. The sugar beet response to growing cropping frequency in compared habitats was the same. Sugar beet was yielding on the same level in control rotation (1:6) and beet rotation (2:6). Beet cropping in specialized rotation (3:6) resulted in a significant lower yield roots (by 6.5 percent)
