Work related accidents in use of farm machines in Polish private farming

There were analysed 1835 work related accidents associated with farm machines use in 9 former provinces. The analysis has shown that the accidents concentrate round about of 8 farm machines groups causing almost 50 of all farm machines - related accidents. The analysis has also shown that the most severe accidents concern the youngest and the oldest age groups of people. It was observed that the risk of more severe accident grows with running work day. The typical injuries caused by farm machines are injuries of hands, fingers and toes
