The influence of the size of harvested zucchini fruits (10-15, 15-25, 25-35 cm and full-grown fruits) of cultivars Astra and Atena F1, grown from seed sowing directly in the field, on the crop productivity was assessed. The significantly highest yield, expressed in numbers was obtained when the harvested fruits were 10-15 cm long. As for the weight of the harvested fruits, a significantly higher yield was obtained when the length of the harvested fruits was 25-35 cm and when the full-grown fruits were harvested. Of the tested varieties Astra yielded more than Atena F1
