Rekowska, E. (Akademia Rolnicza, Szczecin (Poland). Katedra Warzywnictwa)
The aim of the experiment, was to assess the influence of Italian broccoli of the varieties Flash F1, Husky F1, Lord F1 and Skiff F1 and the date of seed sowing (25th may, 10th June and 25th June) on the amount and quality of Italian broccoli yield. It was found out that a higher marketable yield was obtained from the cultivation of the broccoli of the varieties Flash F1 (19.21 t/ha) and Lord F1 (18.84 t/ha). A lower marketable yield was obtained din the case of the varieties Husky F1 (14.28 t/ha) and Skiff F1 (11.58 t/ha). At the same time it was proved that of the applied seed sowing dates, the best economic effects were obtained from the cultivation of broccoli when the seeds were sown on 10th June
