Classification of green areas - special purpose planting.

The classification of green areas according to their purpose and use by the population is discussed. According to this, objects can be of general use, limited use and special purpose. The functional and social functions of each of them are shown. The relevance of the article is due to the lack of information about special purpose landscaping facilities. The scarcity of studies in this field is felt not only in Georgian but also in foreign literature. Therefore, an attempt to fill this gap is fully justified, especially in the direction of cemeteries. Cemeteries are discussed as memorial objects for funeral purposes, which can be: civil, civil-historical, military, fraternal and columbarium. Depending on the specificity, each of them is characterized by area, motifs and vegetation cover. Ref. 2.
