The response of new oat cultivars to nitrogen fertilization in greenhouse experiments | Reakcja nowych odmian owsa na nawożenie azotem w doświadczeniach wazonowych

Inglés. The response of five new oats cultivars to nitrogen (N) applied in doses of 1.2, 2.4 and 3.6 g/pot was investigated in Mitscherlichs pots in the years 2005—2007. Yield of grain and its components (weight of 1000 grains, productivity tillering, number of spikelets per main shoot panicle, weight of grains per panicle, number of grains per panicle, grain yield of main shoot, grain yield of tiller shoot) were determined. The cultivar Koneser manifested a significant yield increase at the N rate of 3.6 g N/pot. Nitrogen applied at 2.4 g N/pot caused a significant yield increase in cvs. Furman, Rajtarand Stoper. The cultivar Gniady produced similar yields, irrespective of the nitrogen dose. Yield increase was due to the increased productive tillering of an individual plant, which compensated for slight decrease in the weight and number of grains per panicle. The 1000 grains weight of the cultivars under investigation did not respond significantly to the increased nitrogen fertilization.

Polaco. W latach 2005–2007 w cyklach dwuletnich, prowadzono badania w wazonach nad reakcją pięciu nowych odmian owsa: Stoper, Rajtar, Furman, Gniady i Koneser na zwiększenie dawek azotu z 1,2 do 2,4 i 3,6 g/wazon. Określono plon ziarna i takie cechy, jak: krzewistość produkcyjna roślin, liczba kłosków w wiesze głównej, masa ziarna z pojedynczej wiechy, liczba ziaren w wiesze oraz masa 1000 ziaren. Odmiana Koneser efektywnie wykorzystywała intensywne nawożenie azotem (3,6 g/wazon). Azot zastosowany w dawce 2,4 g N/wazon powodował istotny wzrost plonu ziarna odmian Furman, Rajtar i Stoper. Odmiana Gniady plonowała podobnie, niezależnie od poziomu nawożenia azotem. Wyższy poziom plonowania owsa był wynikiem wzrostu krzewistości produkcyjnej roślin, która rekompensowała niewielki spadek liczby ziaren i masy ziarna z wiechy. Masa 1000 ziaren u większości badanych odmian nie zmieniała się istotnie pod wpływem zwiększenia dawki azotu.
