La operación en las vías se ve afectado por el crecimiento de la población y en correlación con el aumento del parque automotor, lo que obliga a que a mayor número de personas, mayor número de vehículos y a su vez mayores son los números de accidentes presentados si no se cuenta con un análisis al interior de la problemática; es por esto que la Alcaldía de Usaquén considera de carácter prioritario realizar la Auditoría de Seguridad Vial en el tramo de la Calle 134 entre la Kr 46 y la AK 20. Tramo que por su comportamiento presenta índices de accidentalidad alto; y que debido a la complejidad de su ubicación es importante identificar las causas principales de los accidentes en el tramo. La empresa consultora INGENIERÍA Y DISEÑO, presenta la siguiente propuesta de Auditoría de Seguridad Vial desarrollada para el tramo en mención, dentro de la cual contempla por medio de especialistas con amplios conocimientos en las áreas del Diseño geométrico, señalización, análisis del Tránsito y el Transporte y la estructura como tal de la vía, detallan los pasos necesarios para establecer las razones por las cuales se presentan los índices de accidentalidad. Dentro de la propuesta se señalan los elementos base, la descripción del procedimiento metodológico, los alcances y recursos necesarios para realizar una avaluación especifica de los puntos críticos y de riesgo que concentren una alta cantidad de accidentes de tránsito y que en conjunto con la entidad contratante se prioricen para mitigar la problemática de incidencia de accidentalidad de tránsito del tramo de estudio. Así mismo se entrega el cronograma de actividades acorde a lo anterior y sus costos.
