Desarrollo del software "SAGITARIO" para la determinación de órbitas de cuerpos celestes dentro del sistema solar | Development of "SAGITARIO" software for the determination of celestial body orbits inside the solar system

Mediante el uso de observaciones astronómicas, realizadas con equipos lectura angular (Azimut y altura h) y precisión de segundos de grado (arco) se pueden determinar coordenadas de cuerpos celestes, como planetas, cometas, asteroides ETC dentro del sistema solar. Estos cuerpos, los cuales, presentan movimientos alrededor de estrellas, en nuestro caso es el sol, son regidos por parámetros físicos, que llamamos “mecánica celeste”. Estos movimientos pueden ser determinados, realizando procesos establecidos, hallando los elementos Keplerianos, y aplicándolos al cálculo de orbitas, en los cuales se tienen en cuenta propiedades físicas de cada cuerpo celeste. Estas observaciones tienen lugar en la ciudad de Bogotá, y que tienen como fuente de datos, las observaciones del planeta Júpiter, visible en el firmamento como uno de los puntos más brillantes en la noche. Al ser valores de gran precisión, se implementan en una rutina programada, llamada en este caso “SAGITARIO”, que entrega datos específicos de los cuerpos celestes.

These observations take place in the city of Bogota, and have as data source, observations of the planet Jupiter, visible in the sky as one of the brightest points at night. Being highly accurate values, they are implemented in a programmed routine, called in this case "SAGITTARIO", which delivers specific data of the celestial bodies.
