Azalea absolute oil found wide use in the production of high-quality perfume liquids, but due to the fact that the perfumes became noticeably cloudy and precipitated during storage, its widespread use was hindered. Also, although the production of azalea absolute oil started a long time ago, the influence of individual factors of the technological mode of obtaining absolute oil on its yield and quality was not investigated. Based on this, a detailed study of the technological mode of obtaining absolute oil from concrete at the Food Industry Research Institute determined that concrete should be treated with 96% ethyl alcohol (solute) for 6 hours, and subsequent waxes for 4 hours. Alcohol solutions obtained during the treatment of concrete and waxes should be delayed for 2 hours at minus 12-15 0C. The alcohol solutions obtained during the processing of concrete and waxes shall be blended and concentrated to the 10% content of absolute oil in them and delayed for 20 days. After a delay, the concentrated solution should be filtered and the solvent transferred. The established technological regime allows the absolute oil to be freed from sediments (triterpene alcohols), the presence of which in perfume liquids caused clouding and the separation of amorphous sediments.
