The energy consumption required to prepare domestic hot water in households is a significant part of the energy balance. In general, domestic water and electricity consumption are usually linked and studying this relationship can identify opportunities for efficient use and improvement, which requires an integrated approach to these two components. In the Republic of Moldova, for the first time an attempt is made to determine energy consumption for water heating purposes.
