Abstract: An annotated bibliography of 73 publications selected from the world's technical literature in the 8-year period from 1972 through 1979 covers basic aspects and new developments in various areas of food hypersensitivity and allergy. The publications include: studies of allergy among food workers and its resolution approaches; the allergenic potentials of foods, food additives, food packaging materials and the associated allergenic mechanisms; symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of food allergies and hypersensitivities; symptomatic food-related disorders (e.g. dyslexia, migraine headaches, learning disorders, inattentiveness, childhood hyperactivity, stomach cramps, rashes); and dietary allergens resulting from animal feed or fertilizers. Each entry includes an abstract of the publication and information on the authors, their affiliations, the publication source, and data base abstract number.
