Extract: Corn is the major crop in the agriculture of the Republic of South Africa, and wheat plays an important role in the country's diet. Using appropriate economic information and econometric models, the factors affecting production and consumption of these two crops are identified and analyzed, and forecasts of supply and demand are made through 1985.
