The guide provides researchers with sources of information on public and private, foreign and domestic companies. Private firms, such as investigators and information services, are listed for persons who prefer not to do their own research. The guide includes sources in federal, state, and local governments, as well as the private sector. Each section describes problems and benefits of sources, how to look, and where to look for information. Lists of information that can be located are included.
