The terms in this encyclopedia are arranged in alphabetical order. Following the discussion of each term is a list of cross-references to other related topics for the reader. Three appendices are included for the convenience of the reader. The first (A) is a sample behavior problem history form, to assist in getting answers from an owner. While every behaviorist uses a different system, the one included here incorporates many of the features discussed under the history-taking section. The second appendix (B) includes general species information for quick reference. Veterinary psychopharmacology is changing rapidly, and a number of human drugs are currently being tried for animal behavior problems. While any list can never be complete, the third appendix (C) list several drugs currently being tried in animals, with indications and doses cited from a variety of references .
