Enhanced energy storage and rate performance induced by dense nanocavities inside MnWO₄ nanobars

MnWO₄ nanobars with dense nanocavities have been synthesized through a one pot hydrothermal route. Galvanostatic cycling of the MnWO₄ lithium battery anode exhibits an excellent rate performance. The standout electrochemical performance could be attributed to the unique geometry nanocavities and improved accommodation of the transformation strains during cycling.
