Porter, Carolyn | RYMER, PAUL D. | Rossetto, M (Maurizio)
Thirteen microsatellite loci were developed from an (AG)-enriched library using Telopea speciosissima, a widespread species of dry-sclerophyll forest in New South Wales (NSW, Australia). Genotyping of 30 seeds from one population of T. speciosissima and 15 seeds from one population of the related Telopea aspera (restricted to the Gibraltar Range in northern NSW) was successfully performed. The loci were also tested across seven other related species. The microsatellites will be used to compare population dynamics across a range of taxa representing different distribution patterns.
