Strongyloides stercoralis, dogs infected with strain of human origin, course of infection, immunological responses (blood eosinophilia, IgM and IgG antibodies, no significant difference in stimulation of lymphocyte transformation by PHA or parasite antigen as compared to controls, marked immediate hypersensitivity to antigen injected intradermally but Arthus and delayed hypersensitivity reactions were not seen), some dogs were resistant to challenge infection
