Extramedullary haematopoiesis in spleen of Wistar rat: A case report

A case of extramedullary haematopoiesis in spleen has been reported in Wistar rat. Grossly, spleen was severely enlarged with rounded borders. Histomorphology exhibited marked erythropoiesis with megakaryocytosis.
