Plasmodium falciparum-infected human who had never been in endemic area, probably acquired infection while travelling on Ethiopian airline from London to Rome, second case reported among passengers on this airline flight suggesting that both persons were bitten by same 'commuter' mosquito; recommendations for spraying aircraft as control measure and diagnostic warning for physicians in nonendemic areas
