Teacher on a tape: Audiotutorials' for computer literacy
1984
Zemke, Ron
Audiotutorials are a combination of computer - guided instruction and audio cassette lectures. Each audiotutorial is designed for individual, self-guided learner instruction, combining a human voice (on tape) and hands-on practice with micro-computer/software programs. In this way, several learners can be introduced to different materials at the same time (provided more than one computer is available) and each can learn at his/her own pace. Several suggestions for evaluating audiotutorials include ease of narration, content specificity, and coordination of audio and visual display. A partial list of suppliers is included. (KBC)
