Soil Analysis Service Ltd. has been successful to make soil analysis automatic. Analysis line includes soil sample identification, preparation, and measurement of soil nutrient contents. Analysis line can be divided into nine different parts: manipulation of the order, drying of the samples, grinding and dosing the subsamples, extraction of analysis samples, filtration of the suspensions, measurement of the analysis values, washing of the portion vessels, storage of the vessels, and the computer systems. The automatic analysis line is planned by Soil Analysis Service Ltd. and manufactured by several Finnish companies. The system has been in action from August 1992 without troubles worth mentioning.
