Trichinella spiralis, wolverine isolate in several mouse strains and in other laboratory and wild rodents, biological characteristics (worm position, sex ratio, percent recovery, larval production by females in vitro, reproductive capacity indices, larvae/g muscle), comparison with polar bear isolate from closely related geographic area, results revealed stable and reproducible genetic differences between isolates, species and strain of host altered characteristics of wolverine isolate
