To the knowledge of the fauna of the family Reduviidae (Hemiptera) of Azerbaijan

On the base of the long-term investigation and analysis of the collection materials 25 species from 13 genera of the family Reduviidae were found in the fauna of Azerbaijan. It is possible to divide them in three groups based on their mode of life: 1. Forms having open mode of life – species of the genera Rhynocoris, Nagusta, Collestadema etc.; 2. Forms having concealed mode of life – species of the genera Coranus, Oncocephalus, Holotrichus, Piratus, Metapterus, Emipicoris etc., and 3. Forms which are exclusively nocturnal – these are mainly species of the genus Reduvius
