Summary: The consolidated balance sheets of the Quebec Federation of Desjardins Caisses populaires were analyzed from 1935 to 1975 each five years. this distribution of assets permits a view of the development of the Desjardins movement and an examination of whether it has leaned towards greater centralization or not.
