Host records of five species of Platygastrinae (Hymenoptera, Platygastroidea: Platygastridae) from the United States, with the description of two new species of Platygaster

Platygaster tephrosiae sp. nov and P. vaccinii sp. nov. are described, with host information for these and for three further species of Platygastrinae: Metanopedias eupatorii Buhl, Platygaster munita Walker, and Trichacis virginiensis Ashmead. Hitherto undocumented galls on Galium circaezans Michx., Tephrosia virginiana (L.) Pers., and Vaccinium angustifolium Ait. are illustrated.
