The aqueous extract of Duranta repens, Azadirachta indica and Ocimum sanctum were effective against. Helminthosporium sativim. Among bioagents tested, Trichoderma harzianum, T. ressei and Aspergillus niger were found to be antagonistic to H. sativim. In vitro study indicated that Propiconazole, Hexaconazole, Prochloraz, Quintal, Carboxin and Propineb were found to be effective against the pathogen. Under field condition, among plant extracts Duranta repens (10%) gave best results over control followed by Azadirachtin (0.3%). Least control of disease was observed with Trichoderma harzianum (10⁴spores/ml). However, Hexaconazole (0.1%) gave best control fallowed by Propiconazole (0.1%).
