A new species of Bactrodesmium from Lithuania

Bactrodesmium pusillum, a new species of dematiaceous hyphomycete, collected on unidentified decaying wood and on wood of Quercus robur and Picea abies in forest litter in Lithuania, is described and illustrated. The fungus differs from known species of the genus by the size of the conidiophores and by the shape, size, septation and colour of the conidia.
