The Effect of Certain Nutrients Upon the Hydrocyanic Acid Content of Sudangrass Grown in Nutrient Solution
1958
Patel, C. J. | Wright, M. J.
SynopsisLevels of cyanide in Sweet Sudan were positively associated with levels of nitrogen in the nutrient solutions employed, and negatively associated with levels of phosphorus. There was no consistent response to potassium. Line 109, inherently low in cyanide, did not respond to any of the nutrient treatments. Levels of cyanide were higher in seedlings 20 days old than in those 15, 25, 30, or 35 days old.
