Extract: Results of this crossover study suggest that moderate amounts of dietary cholesterol within the range that individuals ordinarily consume in their self-selected diets do not generally affect serum cholesterol levels. The number of eggs eaten can influence serum cholesterol, but slightly. There was great individual variability in the response of the 70 subjects in the study.(author)
