Average weeding efficiency for khurpi was maximum 97.74% with respect to other emplements because it covers more area near to the plant roots but for hoes it was max. 94.41% for C.I.A.E. wheel hand hoe. Average field efficiency was maximum 85.46% for C.I.A.E. wheel hand hoe where as the average field capacity was max. 8.36xl 0′3 ha/hr and average ratio of man-h was mim. 1:2.28 for A.A.I. wheel hand hoe with 3-forks.
