A field experiment was conducted to influence of sulphur and zinc nutrition of linseed grown under rainfed conditions at Agricultural Research Farm, Rajaula of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Chitrakoot, Satna (MP). The results revealed that the application of sulphur and zinc were significantly increased the growth parameters like plant height, root length, number of leaves plant⁻¹, number of branches plant⁻¹, number of flowers plant⁻¹ and number of capsules plant⁻¹. The seed yield of linseed varied from 503.8 (control) to 685.2 kg ha⁻¹ (S 40 + Zn 55 kg ha⁻¹). Each successive increase in S and Zn levels increased the yield significantly. Straw yield ranged from 644.3 (control) to 864.5 kg ha⁻¹(S 40 + Zn 55 kg ha⁻¹) and also increased significantly like seed yield. The S 40 + Zn 55 kg ha⁻¹ dose was found best in terms of growth and yield of linseed.
