2011
Tirmali, A. M. | Kolte, S. J.
The effect of biotic and abiotic inducers, a plant defense activators were assessed in mustard plants. The susceptible cultivar Kranti was used as experimental host. Mustard plants treated with biotic and abiotic inducers were strongly found protected against staghead phase of white rust. The significant minimum staghead incidence (3.08%) and minimum staghead severity was recorded in mancozeb (3.41%) and in salicylic acid (3.62%) while 6.05% in check. The glucosinolate content was recorded in the range of (115.99–175.07 m mol/gm) while in responsible to impart disease resistance in mustard.
