Shukla, Smita
The increasing use of AgNPs in consumer products raises concerns regrading the environment exposure and impact of silver nanoparticles on natural aquatic environments. Therefore present investigations were taken on the effect of AgNPs administration on the liver histology in Clarias batrachus. The size of AgNPs were taken 10nm. Fish were divided into three groups. Experiment fish were exposed to concentration of 0.10 and 0.16 mg l⁻¹ for 10 and 20 days. In the hepatic structure of treated fish with AgNPs should prolification of hepotocytes, pykrotic nuclei (Pk) aggregation of melanomarophage (Mm) for 10 days and 20 days showed hepatic cells with decrease in cell size infiltration of the inflammatory cells (IF) dilution in the blood vessels (DBV), therefore it is interfered that the harmful impact of silver dose and time dependent. The present result suggest that more alteration should be paid to prevent the accidental and intentional release of silver nonmaterial into freshwater aquatic environment.
