Characteristics of Mentha L. samples from the collection of the Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea by main indicators of productivity | Характеристика коллекции мяты (Mentha L.) ФГБУН "НИИСХ Крыма" по показателям продуктивности

Inglés. To increase the efficiency of production and expand the range of essential oil products, it is necessary to create new high-yielding varieties of mint of different directions of use. The aim of the research was to study Mentha L. samples from the collection of the Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea in terms of the main indicators of productivity and then select the most promising ones for breeding work. The studies were conducted in 2019–2021 on the experimental field located in the Crimean Foothills (village of Krymskaya Roza, Belogorsky district). There were studied 136 Mentha L. samples, including 6 varieties bred by the Institute ('Krasnodarskaya 2', 'Zagrava', 'Udaychanka', 'Prilukskaya karvonnaya', 'Azhurnaya', 'Bergamotnaya'). Total area of the nursery is 260 m2. The seedlings of Mentha L. samples were transplanted annually in late April. Planting scheme is 1.0 x 0.6 m, accounting area of the plot is 0.6 m2. The highest indicators of productivity were observed in 2020, when hydrothermal conditions were the most favourable. On average, during the study period, the yield of herbage in the collection was 85.8 ± 3.5 dt/ha with a range of variability from 23.8 ± 3.2 to 227.3 ± 33.3 dt/ha. There were identified 38 samples (28%) with the yield of above 100 dt/ha and more. The dry leaf yield in the collection averaged 14.4 ± 0.5 dt/ha (4.2 ± 0.6 to 30.6 ± 3.4 dt/ha). There were identified 28 samples (21%) with high dry leaf yield – 18 kg/ha and higher. The content of essential oil in air-dried raw material varied in the collection from 0.6 ± 0.1 to 5.8 ± 0.2% with an average value at the level of 2.8 ± 0.1%. The high-oil-yielding group with a mass fraction of essential oil was from 4.1 to 5.8%, included 23 samples, or 17%. The yield of essential oil ranged from 4.2 ± 0.4 to 138.7 ± 9.3 kg/ha with an average indicator of 44.4 ± 2.6 kg/ha. There were identified 32 specimens (24%) with high essential oil yield – from 61 kg/ha and higher. In terms of complex and/or separate parameters, 11 samples can be recommended for inclusion into the breeding process.

Ruso. Для повышения эффективности производства и расширения ассортимента эфиромасличной продукции необходимо создание новых высокопродуктивных сортов мяты разных направлений использования. Цель исследования – изучение коллекции мяты (Mentha L.) "Научно-исследовательского института сельского хозяйства Крыма" по основным показателям продуктивности и выделение перспективных образцов для использования в селекционном процессе. Исследования проводили в 2019–2021 гг. на экспериментальном участке, расположенном в Предгорье Крыма (с. Крымская Роза, Белогорский район). Изучено 136 образцов, в том числе шесть сортов, выведенных институтом (Краснодарская 2, Заграва, Удайчанка, Прилукская карвонная, Ажурная и Бергамотная). Коллекционный питомник общей площадью 260 м2 ежегодно закладывали рассадой в конце апреля. Схема посадки – 1,0x0,6 м, площадь учетной делянки – 0,6 м2. Наиболее высокие показатели продуктивности отмечены в благоприятных гидротермических условиях 2020 г. Урожайность зеленой массы за период изучения составила в коллекции в среднем 85,8 ± 3,5 ц/га при диапазоне изменчивости от 23,8 ± 3,2 до 227,3 ± 33,3 ц/га. Выделено 38 (28%) образцов с урожайностью выше 100 ц/га. Сбор сухого листа в коллекции в среднем составил 14,4 ± 0,5 ц/га (4,2 ± 0,6 – 30,6 ± 3,4 ц/га). Выделено 28 образцов (21%) с высоким сбором сухого листа – от 18 ц/га и выше. Содержание эфирного масла в воздушно-сухом сырье варьировало в коллекции от 0,6 ± 0,1 до 5,8 ± 0,2% при среднем показателе 2,8 ± 0,1%. В группу высокомасличных с массовой долей эфирного масла от 4,1 до 5,8% вошли 23 (17%) образца. Сбор эфирного масла варьировал от 4,2 ± 0,4 до 138,7 ± 9,3 кг/га при среднем показателе 44,4 ± 2,6 кг/га. Выделено 32 образца (24%) с высоким сбором эфирного масла – от 61 кг/га и выше. По комплексу и/или отдельным параметрам продуктивности для включения в селекционный процесс рекомендовано 11 образцов.
