According to Balinese script, there are two types of plants that have been traditionally used for food and herbal medicine, namely pulai and tangi. The development and utilization of these plants in the fields of food and health have not been based on scientific studies, therefore research is needed with the aimed of knowing the plants types molecularly and phytochemically including their antioxidant power. For this reason, molecular analysis was carried out using rbcl primer, GCMS analysis, and antioxidant power tests on ethanol extract of pulai and tangi plants. The results of tracing through genebank obtained the pulai plant species was Alstonia scholaris MK982594.1 and tangi was Lagerstroemia tomentosa MW044208.1. The main compound contained in the pulai was decanoic acid with the main function as an anticancer and its antioxidant power was very strong category. Tangi contained a main compound was Beta-sitosterol with function as anticancer and had antioxidant power with a strong category.
