Current trends in poultry welfare.

Poultry welfare issues and current global trends are discussed. The importance of measurable and non-measurable parameters of well-being, both on the quality of the poultry’s well-being and its desired productivity, is mentioned. The examples of Europe and the USA are discussed in the conditions of intensive production of poultry and the issues of regulating their welfare and productivity. It is concluded that despite the activity and constant care of the world community, in order to improve the quality of welfare of animals and poultry, it is still necessary to find new technologies and ways to optimize these issues as much as possible.
