Los sistemas de fracturas del Valle del Jerte (Cáceres). Consideraciones sobre su evoluación durante el Cenozoico

[ES]Se da una interpretación a las lineaciones aerofotográficas del Valle del Jerte, conclusiones sobre la tectónica de la región que aportan. Las fracturas del Valle del Jerte se reparten en los siguientes sistemas: NE-SW o del Alentejo-Plasencia, NNE-SSW o de Valdastillas, NW-SE a WNW-ESE o "tranverso" y W-E o de Cabezuela (que, por basculamiento puede resultar WNW-ESE). Todos los sistemas son originariamente hercínicos o tardihercínicos, con importantes rejuegos alpinos. Se ha podido comprobar la casi absoluta tranquilidad tectónica local de la "falla de Plasencia" y de las del sistema de Cabezuela a partir del Mioceno.
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-][EN] A new interpretation of the aerophotograpic lineaments of the Jerte Valley which permits to get important conclusions on the tectonics of the area and of the neighbouring region is given in this paper. The fractures of the Jerte Valley are distributed according to the following systems: NE-SW (Alentejo Plasencia system), NNE-SSW (Valdastillas system), NW-SE to WNW-ESE (transverse system), and W-E -or WNW-ESE, when tilded- (Cabezuela system). All these fractures are Hercynian or Late (Hercynian in age, and were reactivated during Alpine times. However, after de Miocene, there was an almost complete lack of tectonic activity along the Plasencia fault and the Cabezuela system.
