Los plaguicidas y su impacto en el medio ambiente.

This present research work is carried out with the purpose of publicizing the impact of the use of pesticides on the environment, consulting bibliographic sources. Pesticides have become a threat to the environment due to their high degree of toxicity.

El uso de plaguicidas son productos químicos más empleados por el hombre, se han usado sobre todo para combatir plagas de los cultivos. Su excesivo uso conlleva a la contaminación del ambiente, a la salud humana. En su parte los plaguicidas especialmente organofosforados, organoclorados y carbamatos (agroquímicos de mayor impacto ambiental) y fertilizantes químicos que han provocado eutrofización, toxicidad de las aguas, contaminación de aguas subterráneas, contaminación del aire, degradación del suelo y de los ecosistemas, desequilibrios biológicos y reducción de la biodiversidad; dicha contaminación ambiental está dada fundamentalmente por aplicaciones directas en los cultivos agrícolas, lavado inadecuado de tanques contenedores, filtraciones en los depósitos de almacenamiento y residuos descargados y dispuestos en el suelo, derrames accidentales, el uso inadecuado de los mismos por parte de la población. Este presente trabajo de investigación se lo realiza con la finalidad de dar a conocer el impacto que tiene el uso de los plaguicidas en el medio ambiente, consultando fuentes bibliográficas. Los plaguicidas se han vuelto una amenaza para el medio ambiente por su alto grado de toxicidad.
