Evaluación de la diversidad forestal en el centro de producción e investigación Pablo Yacu, 2011

The present thesis work to obtain the professional title of Environmental Engineer has as title: "Porest diversity evaluation in the Pabloyacu center of production and investigation, 2011 ", it considers to evaluate the forest diversity and to know the number of individuals for species, likewise to determine the principal characteristics of the area of study. This work of investigation centred on the forest investigation in order to apply the indexes of diversity. It was considered important to realize a study of the physical aspect using the management tool " Ecological and Economic Zoning " using the information systems geographical, this it is detailed in the results, where they identified a sandy loam soil in greater proportion; as well well as the determination of population parameters. Por this investigation Gentry method was in use applying the technology Estratificadamente at random. It consists in placing 1 O transects of 2m x 50m for each sampling unit, making a total of 0.1ha. In each transect is proceeded to identify and quantify the species present, it was also considered biometric data and description ofthe study area. In the results of the investigation there was identified that the most representative species is the Rupiña with 41 individuals, this demonstrates his wide distribution in the evaluated transectos. The índices of diversity are shaped by the diversity Alpha, Beta and Gamma. Por purposes of the investigation it was considered the Alpha and Beta diversity. In the alpha diversity we have that the species richness is low with a value of 7. 29 In the indexes of Margalef and Menhinick respective! y. In Chao 2 it was determined that 29% is represented by the species present in a single sample and 24% is represented by species present in both samples. According to the Jacknife 1 formula of the occurrence ofthe species in a single sample is high with 51.8, in Jacknife 2 is high with a value of 54.28. Using the Chao 1 formula has to be 46% ofthe sampled species are represented by one or two individuals. The Simpson index is very important, because it shows the dominance of a species within the framework of all the sampled population, where it is believed that the probability of occurrence oftwo randomly chosen species is 0.07, this implies a high diversity of species in the sample. Berger-Parker's index determined that the forest diversity is high. The index of Shannon Wiener indicates us that the area of investigation is diverse, this agrees with Simpson's index. In Pielou's index one determined that it is abundant with a value ofO. 843. Beta diversity has the Jaccard index shows that the species found and identified are very diversificas between if. With the index of Sokal and Sneath is 0.09 , which means that the species found in the different transects are common in a 9 per cent, that is to say the sites are different in their composition. Finally the complementarity ofthe species ofthe transects is 0.73 this indicates the importance ofpreserving the forest.

El presente trabajo de tesis para obtener el título profesional de Ingeniero Ambiental tiene como título "Evaluación de la diversidad forestal en el centro de producción e investigación Pablo yacu, 2011 ", se plantea evaluar la diversidad forestal y conocer el número de individuos por especie, asimismo determinar las principales características del área de estudio. Este trabajo de investigación se centró en la investigación forestal con el fm de aplicar los índices de diversidad. Se consideró importante realizar un estudio del aspecto físico utilizando la herramienta de gestión "Zonificación Ecológica y Económica" haciendo uso de los sistemas de información geográfica, este se detalla en los resultados, donde se identificó un suelo franco arenoso en mayor proporción; así también la determinación de los parámetros poblacionales. Para esta investigación se utilizó el método de Gentry aplicando la técnica Estratificadamente al azar. Consta en ubicar 1 O transectos de 2m x 50m para cada unidad muestra!, haciendo un total de O.lha. En cada transecto se procedió a identificar y cuantificar las especies presentes, también se consideró datos biométricos y la descripción del área de estudio. En los resultados de la investigación se identificó que la especie más representativa es la Rupiña con 41 individuos, esto manifiesta su amplia distribución en los transectos evaluados. Los índices diversidad está conformada por la diversidad Alfa, Beta y Gamma. Para fines de la investigación se consideró la diversidad Alfa y Beta. En la diversidad alfa tenemos que la riqueza de especies es baja con un valor de 7. 29 en los índices de Margalef y Menhinick respectivamente. En chao 2 se determinó que el 29 % es representado por las especies presentes en una sola muestra y el 24 % está representado por especies presentes en dos muestras. Según la fórmula de Jacknife 1 la ocurrencia de las especies en una sola muestra es alta con 51.8, en Jacknife 2 es alta con valor de 54.28. Utilizando la fórmula de Chao 1 se tiene que el 46 % de las especies muestreadas están representadas por uno o dos individuos. El índice de Simpson es muy importante, porque muestra la dominancia de una especie en marco de toda la población muestreada, donde se tiene que la probabilidad de ocurrencia de dos especies escogidas al azar es de 0.07, esto implica una alta diversidad de especies en la muestra. El índice de Berger-Parker determinó que la diversidad forestal es alta. El índice de Shannon Wiener nos indica que el área de investigación es diversa, esto concuerda con el índice de Simpson. En el índice de Pielou se determinó que es diversificadamente abundante con un valor de O. 843. La diversidad Beta tiene el índice de Jaccard muestra que las especies encontradas e identificadas son muy diversificas entre sí. Con el índice de Sokal y Sneath es de 0.09, lo que significa que las especies encontradas en los diferentes transectos son comunes en un 9 %, es decir los sitios son diferentes en su composición. Por último la complementariedad de las especies de los transectos es de 0.73 esto indica la importancia de conservar el bosque.
