Agriculture in extreme conditions: experience and results of work of agrochemical service of the Magadan region | Сельское хозяйство в экстремальных условиях: опыт и результат работы агрохимической службы Магаданской области

Inglés. The activity and development history of the 'Magadanskaya' Agrochemical Service Station since 1965 to the present is reviewed. There is presented a brief history of improvement of soil fertility of in lands of the Magadan region known due to unfavorable climate, as well as digitalization of the results obtained in the course of field work, chemical research, and monitoring of soils of agricultural lands. The dynamics of soil fertility indicators of agricultural lands in the Magadan region for 1965-2023 is presented. It was established a steady soil fertility improvement in the Magadan region in the second half of the twentieth century. It was conditioned by large-scale application of mineral and organic fertilizers, as well as chemical ameliorants. As a result, in the late 1980s – early 1990s, when the area of agricultural lands reached its maximum size - 39.7-42.4 thousand ha- the average weighted indicator of humus content in arable soils is 8.9%, which belongs to the V gradation group (high content), phosphorus indicator is 18.2-23.7 mg/kg, potassium - 16.1-20.7 mg/kg. The comparison of the results of soil survey on the degree of acidity is also given: the number of acidic soils (pH less than 5.5) in the region comparing with the initial period 2005-2008 decreased to 49.2%, and now it increases slowly, up to 65.0% in 2023, which is 18.55 thousand hectares. The weighted average content by degree of acidity on arable land is 5.4.

Ruso. Представлен обзор деятельности и развития Станции агрохимической службы "Магаданская" с 1965 г. по настоящее время. Кратко описана история работы по повышению плодородия почв Магаданской области, а также по цифровизации полученных результатов в ходе проведения полевых работ и химических исследований. Представлена динамика показателей плодородия почвы сельскохозяйственных угодий за 1965-2023 гг. Отмечено, что во второй половине ХХ в. в Магаданской области наблюдалось устойчивое улучшение плодородия почвы. Это было обусловлено широкомасштабным применением минеральных и органических удобрений, а также химических мелиорантов. В результате в конце 1980-х – начале 1990-х гг., когда площадь сельскохозяйственных угодий достигала максимальных размеров (39,7-42,4 тыс. га), средневзвешенный показатель содержания гумуса в почвах пашни составлял 8,9%, что относится к V группе градации (высокое содержание), показатель фосфора – 18,2-23,7 мг/кг, калия – 16,1-20,7 мг/кг. Также приведено сравнение результатов обследования почв по степени кислотности: количество кислых почв области (рН меньше 5,5) по сравнению с начальным периодом уменьшилось до 49,2% (2005-2008 гг.), а теперь медленно возрастает до 65,0% на 2023 г., что составляет 18,55 тыс. га. Средневзвешенное содержание по степени кислотности на пашне составляет 5,4.
