تقييم مشجرين للصنوبر الثمري Pinus pinea L. في الطابق النبتي المتوسطي الحراري في محافظة اللاذقية (سورية)

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم مشجرين للصنوبر الثمري بعمر 40-43 سنة،  الأول في موقع صنوبر جبلة (اللاذقية) والثاني في موقع الشقيفات (اللاذقية) ومحاولة تحديد أسباب عدم إثمار غابة الصنوبر الثمري في موقع صنوبر جبلة، ولقد نفذت الدراسة خلال عامي 2003 و2004. أظهرت النتائج وجود كل من الآزوت والفوسفور والبوتاسيوم بكميات كافية لنمو الأشجار في تربتي كلا الغابتين.  كما بينت الدراسة ارتفاع نسبة المادة العضوية في تربة غابة الشقيفات (5.459 غرام/100 غرام تربة) مقارنة بتربة غابة صنوبر جبلة (3.10 غرام/100 غرام تربة)، ويعود ذلك إلى ارتفاع نسبة الطين في موقع الشقيفات مقارنة مع موقع صنوبر جبلة.  فضلا عن أن كربونات الكالسيوم كانت مرتفعة في موقع صنوبر جبلة (45.867 – 61.18 غرام/100 غرام تربة) ومنخفضة في تربة موقع الشقيفات (0.507 – 0.658 غرام/100 غرام تربة).  أما كمية عنصر البورون، فكانت مرتفعة نسبياً في تربة موقع الشقيفات (0.338 جزء في المليون) مقارنة مع كميته في تربة موقع صنوبر جبلة (0.18 جزء في المليون). تراوحت أقطار وارتفاعات الأشجار بين 24.57 و40.52 سم (القطر) و12.38 و13.86 م (الارتفاع) في موقع صنوبر جبلة، و22.34 و33.44 سم (القطر) و10.69 و12.17 م (الارتفاع) في موقع الشقيفات. بلغت كثافة الأشجار في موقع صنوبر جبلة 352 شجرة في الهكتار، ووصل ارتفاع الشجرة المتوسطة إلى 13.5 م وقطرها على ارتفاع الصدر 30.44 سم، وبلغ معامل الشكل 0.68. بالنسبة إلى المخزون الخشبي في موقع صنوبر جبلة فقد وصل إلى 231.51 م3/هكتار، وكان معدل النمو السنوي 5.38 م3/هكتار/سنة. بلغت كثافة الأشجار في موقع الشقيفات 380 شجرة في الهكتار، ووصل ارتفاع الشجرة المتوسطة إلى 11.5 م وقطرها على ارتفاع الصدر 26.81 سم، وبلغ معامل الشكل 0.64. بالنسبة للمخزون الخشبي في موقع الشقيفات فقد وصل إلى 156.15 م3/هكتار، وكان معدل النمو السنوي 3.90 م3/هكتار/سنة. خلصت الدراسة إلى نتيجة مفادها عدم وجود علاقة بين خواص التربة المدروسة وعدم إثمار غابة الصنوبر الثمري في موقع صنوبر جبلة، ويعود عدم إثمارها إلى ارتفاع الكثافة التاجية ومعدل النمو الخضري، ومع هذا لا ينصح بتفريد هذه الغابة لأنها غابة وقائية الهدف منها تثبيت الرمال الشاطئية وقد يؤدي تفريدها إلى انجراف هذه الرمال. This study aimed at evaluating two plantations of Pinus pinea in Snoubar Jableh site (Lattakia) and Al-Shqaifat site (Lattakia) that were planted 40-43 years ago.  The study is also an attempt to determine the causes of no-fruit bearing in Snoubar Jableh forest.  The investigation was carried out during 2003-2004. The results revealed that the amounts of N, P, K in the soils of both plantations were adequate for normal growth and performance of Pinus pinea trees.  Organic matter contents in Al-Shqaifat soil (5.459 gram/100 gram of soil) were higher than that in Snoubar Jableh soil (3.10 gram/100 gram of soil).  This can be attributed to the higher clay contents in Al-Shqaifat soil. Calcium carbonate contents were higher in Snoubar Jableh soil (45.867-61.18 gram/100 gram of soil) than that in Al-Shqaifat soil (0.507-0.658 gram/100 gram of soil).  In addition, boron content was high in Al-Shqaifat soil (0.338 ppm) as compared to that of the Snoubar Jableh soil (0.18 ppm). Diameters and height of trees ranged between 24.57 and 40.52 cm (diameter) and 12.38 and 13.86 m (height) in Snoubar Jableh site, and 22.34 and 33.44 cm (diameter) and 10.67 and 12.17 m (height) in Al-Shqaifat site. Density of trees in Snoubar Jableh site was 352 trees per hectare.  Height, diameter, and form factor of the average tree were 13.5 m, 30.44 cm, and 0.68 respectively.  Volume of wood was 231.51 m3/hectare and the annual growth rate was 5.38 m3/hectare/year. Density of trees in Al-Shqaifat site was 380 trees per hectare.  Height, diameter, and form factor of the average tree were 11.5 m, 26.81 cm, and 0.64 respectively.  Volume of wood was 156.15 m3/hectare and the annual growth rate was 3.90 m3/hectare/year. The study concluded that there was no relation between investigated chemical and physical properties of the soil and no-fruit bearing in Snoubar Jableh forest. The cause behind no-fruit bearing is the high density of crowns and the high growth rate.  However, since the purpose of this forest is fixation of littoral sands, it is not recommended to thin this forest, such thing will lead to sand erosion.
