Influência de regimes hídricos sobre a fenologia e produção de frutos em jabuticabeiras (Plinia peruviana (Poir.) Govaerts) | The influence of water regimes on the phenology and fruits production in jabuticaba trees (Plinia peruviana (Poir.) Govaerts)

A jabuticabeira (Plinia spp.) é uma espécie mirtácea nativa do Brasil que apresenta um grande potencial agronômico. No entanto, há carência de informações sobre técnicas de manejo para ajustar o sistema de cultivo, dentre estas, a irrigação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi verificar a influência de diferentes regimes hídricos sobre a fenologia, produção e características de frutos de jabuticabeira (P. peruviana), e caracterizar o desenvolvimento de jabuticabas do mesmo genótipo sob as condições de cultivo da Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil. O primeiro estudo foi realizado de janeiro de 2014 a dezembro de 2015. Quatro tratamentos com seis repetições (compostos por uma planta cada), foram utilizados no delineamento inteiramente casualizado. Os tratamentos consistiram: T1) sem irrigação; T2) irrigação uma vez por semana; T3) três vezes por semana; e T4) diária. A fenologia reprodutiva foi avaliada através da contagem do número de gemas reprodutivas em cada estádio fenológico. Na fenologia vegetativa avaliou-se: o comprimento da brotação, número de folhas e diâmetro da base da brotação. Foram avaliadas a produção e o número de frutos por planta, massa média dos frutos, produção acumulada de frutos por planta e volume de copa. Avaliou-se o diâmetro transversal e longitudinal, índice de forma e cor do epicarpo dos frutos; e o teor de substâncias de reserva nos ramos. O segundo estudo foi realizado no ciclo produtivo de setembro/outubro de 2016. A curva de crescimento dos frutos foi obtida através do diâmetro transversal. Foi avaliado o pH, a acidez titulável, o teor de sólidos solúveis da polpa; e a cor do epicarpo dos frutos. Os regimes hídricos não influenciam a fenologia reprodutiva e vegetativa de jabuticabeira. No entanto, a irrigação diária proporciona menor crescimento vegetativo às plantas e maior produção de frutos, sem alterar suas características, nem o teor de substâncias de reserva nos ramos. Jabuticabas apresentam curva de crescimento sigmoide simples. Durante a maturação ocorre a redução da acidez titulável, o aumento do pH e do teor de sólidos solúveis, e a redução dos valores dos parâmetros de cor.

The jabuticaba tree (Plinia spp.) is a native Myrtaceae specie from Brazil which presents a great agronomic potential. However, there is a lack of information about management techniques for adjusting its cultivation system, including irrigation. The aim of this work was to verify the influence of different water regimes on the phenology, production and characteristics of jabuticaba trees (P. peruviana) fruits, and characterize the development of jabuticaba of the same genotype under the cultivation conditions of Metropolitan Area of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. The first study was carried out from january 2014 to december 2015. Four treatments with six repeats (composed by one plant each) were applied in a completely randomized design. The treatments consisted in: T1) without irrigation; T2) irrigation once a week; T3) three times a week; and T4) daily. The reproductive phenology were evaluated by counting the reproductive button numbers in each phenological stadia. In the vegetative phenology were evaluated: the budding length, number of leaves and diameter budding base. Were evaluated the production and the fruit number per plant, average mass of fruits, accumulated fruit production per plant and treetop size. Were evaluated the transversal and longitudinal diameter, shape index and epicarp color of fruits; and the reserve substances content of the branches. The second study was carried out in a productive cycle of september/october of 2016. The fruits growth curve was obtained through the transversal diameter. Were evaluated the pH, titratable acidity, pulp soluble solid content and the fruits epicarp color. The water regimes do not influence the reproductive and vegetative phenology of jabuticaba trees. However, the daily irrigation provides a smallest plant vegetative growth and a biggest fruits production without change its characteristics or the reserve substances content of branches. The jabuticaba trees fruits presents a simple sigmoid type of growth curve. During the fruits maturation it occurs a reduction of the titratable acidity with an increase of pH and soluble solids content, and the reduction of color parameters values.
