Desempenho de matrizes de corte suplementadas com β-mananase | Performance of broiler breeder hens supplemented with β-mannanase

O estudo foi conduzido para avaliar o efeito da suplementação de β-mananase na dieta e a restrição de energia no desempenho de matrizes de frangos de corte de 25 a 65 semanas. Um total de 672 Fêmeas Cobb 500 foram aleatoriamente distribuídas em quatro tratamentos com oito repetições. As unidades experimentais consistiram de 21 galinhas e 2 machos cada. As dietas à base de milho e farelo de soja e casca de soja foram formuladas de acordo com as recomendações de manejo de matrizes do manual da Cobb SF 2013. Os tratamentos consistiram em três níveis de energia: 2760, 2715 e 2670 kcal / kg de EMA e um quarto tratamento com 2670 kcal / kg de EMA suplementado com 400 g / t de β-mananase. A produção total, percentual e média de ovos, o peso corporal, o peso dos ovos, eclodibilidade dos ovos férteis e o número de pintinhos produzidos por fêmea alojada foram analisados semanalmente e a cada 28 dias, totalizando 10 períodos. Os dados foram analisados pelo procedimento de modelo misto do SAS e as médias foram comparadas pelo teste de Tukey (P <0,05) ou por contraste (P<0,05). A fertilidade e a eclodibilidade dos ovos férteis não foram afetadas pela restrição de energia da dieta e nem pela suplementação de β-mananase. No entanto, o peso dos ovos, o peso dos pintinhos e o peso corporal das galinhas foram significativamente menores (P< 0,05) quando o nível de energia na dieta diminuiu, e não foi compensado pelo uso da enzima. A produção percentual e numérica média de ovos e o número de pintos nascidos por ave alojada foi significativamente maior (P< 0,05) para os animais que receberam a dieta controle ou com redução de energia com a suplementação enzimática. A restrição de energia dietética imposta pelos tratamentos prejudicou o desempenho das galinhas e a suplementação da enzima β-mananase foi capaz de compensar esta redução.

A study was conduct to evaluate the effect of dietary β-mannanase supplementation and energy restriction on broiler breeders` performance from 25 to 65 wk. A total of 672 Cobb 500 hens were randomly assigned to one of four treatments with eight replicates. Experimental units consisted of 21 hens and 2 males each. Corn-soybean meal and soybean hulls based diets were formulated according to Cobb SF breeder management recommendations 2013. Treatments consisted of three energy levels: 2760, 2715 and 2670 kcal/kg AME and a fourth treatment with 2670 kcal/kg AME supplemented with 400g/t of β-mannanase. Total production, percentage and average of eggs, body weight, egg weight, hatchability of fertile eggs and number of chicks produced per female housed were analyzed weekly and every 28 days, totaling 10 periods. Data were analyzed using the mixed model procedure of SAS and means were compared by Tukey test (P < 0.05) or contrast (P<0,05). Fertility and hatchability of fertile eggs were not affected by dietary energy restriction or by supplementation of β-mananase. However, the weight of the eggs, the weight of the chicks and the body weight of the chickens were significantly lower (P < 0.05) when the energy level in the diet decreased and was not compensated by the use of the enzyme. The average percentage and numerical production of eggs and the number of chicks born per hen housed was significantly higher (P < 0.05) for animals that received the control diet or with energy reduction with enzyme supplementation. The restriction of dietary energy imposed by the treatments impaired the performance of the chickens and the supplementation of the enzyme β-mananase was able to compensate for this reduction.
