Phylogenetic variation of traditional eggplant variety, 'Sadowara' in Miyazaki Prefecture

We report a case of the Miyazaki agricultural research institute herb and local plant Center to investigate the inter-system mutation of the collected traditional eggplant varieties 'Sadowara'. 1. The fruit weight of the traditional eggplant variety 'Sadowara' is 172.4g-248.3g, the fruit length is 18.7 cm-21.8 cm, and the fruit diameter is 5.7 cm-6.5 cm. The shapes of the eggplant may be club type and oval. The color of the pericarp is 9210 (dark red purple), and 9218 (dark gray purple), with a focus on red purple, such as 9510 (dark red purple). 2. Traditional eggplant cultivar 'Sadowara' heavy Group fruit length short by cluster analysis, heavy elongate groups could be classified into three clusters of light on the elongated group.
