Datasets associated with accepted manuscript "Conversion of rainforest to both traditional and industrial oil palm systems changes the biodiversity, web-building, and prey capture of understory spiders (Liberia, West Africa)", recently accepted for publication in Agriculture, Ecosystems, and Environment. Datasets are from field-based data collection, occurring in ecological monitoring plots in areas of rainforest, community-managed agriculture, and industrial oil palm plantations in Sinoe County, Liberia. All spider data were collected using transect-based approaches, and include data on spider biodiversity (abundance, species richness, species-level composition), web-building, and prey capture.
