Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]The project developed, tested and deployed two approaches for scaling up fertilizer micro-dosing innovations: the Satellite Dissemination Approach (SDA) and the Innovation Platform (IP). All project milestones were successfully achieved: indigenous vegetables were sustainably grown with microdosed fertilizer - harvested, processed with value added, marketed and consumed, improving the nutritional quality and quantity of food stocks, increasing incomes and thus reducing the risk of poverty and disease. Reaching a total of 337,931 farmers, the programme integrated 181 secondary schools into the MicroVeg Project Young Vegetable Scientist Club (YVSC) and trained them in vegetable science and production technologies along with 957 teachers.
