While gravimetric methods are precise but destructive, various continuous and frequent measuring sensors are available but costly. This study evaluates the performance of Sentek Drill and Drop capacitive sensors in Tunisia's rainfed and irrigated systems. Using both supplier calibration and site-specific procedures, results showed greater variability in soil moisture at upper layers and highlighted correlations between soil temperature, salinity, and moisture content. Further analysis is needed to fully assess sensor performance.
