An analysis of the results of competitive variety testing of a number of zoned and promising varieties of winter wheat, selection by CNCPS in contrasting years of their study (2021-2023) is presented. On the basis of this, the level of productivity of these varieties was assessed as the main factor in their resistance to unfavorable growing conditions during the period of the experiments. Based on this principle, the institute has created highly productive varieties of winter soft wheat, combining a good level of adaptability: Acord, Simbol, Numitor, Zborul (group of varieties of intensive ecotype); Meleag, Vestitor, Odor, Tiras, Fluieraș (varieties of semi-intensive ecotype).
